Twistee Treat Ocala 2: Delicious Ice Cream with Friendly Service and Drive-Thru

Been coming here for a couple of years been waiting to do a review cause I always forget to get some pics. The strawberry sundaes are delicious my whole family loved them they guys that work here are friendly and very nice, even thou they didn’t have my favorite ice cream rum raisin and piña colada. I got to try the pistachio and it was delicious the waffle cone with chocolate is yummy. Love this place!

Very friendly staff , quick service and quality ice cream. They never fail to disappoint always a fun experience that i enjoy when visiting.

Who doesn’t want ice cream after dinner out? Or ice cream for any reason? We stopped by Twistee Treats to get our sweet fix Conveniently located, includes a drive through. Can you imagine…..drive through ice cream? We parked and ordered to enjoy the full experience of hanging out and enjoying our treats. Made to order, servers are efficient and timely. Multitude of flavors to choose from in cones, cups or some specialty items. Enjoyed the ice cream and the atmosphere. Eat out or drive through option. Either way, you can’t lose.

Twistee Treat has become our favorite ice cream place we bring all family members when they visit my favorite flavor is strawberry and coffee side by side my husband tries different combos every time we come

One of an ice cream cone yesterday stopped off and got a strawberry and a cake cone and it was delicious. I think I’m gonna go back shortly… Store is a definite 5

Our first visit to a Twistee Treat in September 2023. I like the option of the drive though, which we used since it was pretty hot outside. I like the little ice cream cone shape of the building. Although I wish they had an indoor place to eat your ice cream, so it doesn't melt so quick. We drove up and had to choose from some good options. Then we drive up to the window, pay, then waited a bit for our order to be completed. You cannot look into the Twistee Treat while waiting at the window. They use a window block you see in a lot of pickup truck back windows, to prevent this. But it does read thank you on it. I feel uncomfortable not knowing what is happening on just the other side of the glass, while I am on full display for the other side to see us. Anyway, we ordered a couple of small twirls, which is like a Dairy Queen Blizzard. These two small Twirls, cost us approximately $13. And that's the small size!. Although the small size is fairly large itself. So Twistee Treat seems pretty expensive. Our order came out after a few minutes, and was dripping down the side of the cup onto the cars console, before I was handed the second Twirl. So our one napkin each was already used up with the melted ice cream. We pulled over to shade the front of the car while we ate in the air conditioning. I cannot imagine ordering at the walk up window then trying to sit a one of the tables to eat this twirl. I would probably be drinking it. Anyway, the ice cream was very good. Was it worth the price? So there's the dilemma. Pay the price for a really decent ice cream treat, or not pay the price and take other options. I might like it a little better in the winter months where it is cooler, so we could sit outside. I'm sure I'll return to Twistee Treat since it'd close, good (abet expensive), and not a far drive.

I ordered small is but still too big for me lol I hope they have mini size I feel I get points super quick!I went few times but they already gave me $3 off
